What will I learn?



Krav Maga is extremely easy to learn as its actions are based on the body's natural defence instincts. Therefore a practitioner can expect to become proficient very quickly.


Krav Maga is a self defence system designed to stop all kinds of real world threats and attacks. These include attacks from punches, kicks, chokes, grabs to dealing with multiple attackers and attackers armed with weapons. All defences are taught from all angles, in all positions and under all types of conditions and stress. 

Krav Maga also teaches you to identify a threat and what to do to stop/defuse a threat before it escalates into violence. The best outcome is always to safely remove yourself from a situation without fighting however Krav Maga equips you with the necessary skills to cope with violent confrontations and deal with fear, stress and other factors that come into play when you cannot avoid a threat or attack. 

Most people either fight, flight (run away) or freeze when confronted with a violent confrontation, Krav Maga teaches you to fight and defend yourself. 

You will learn the following and more:
  • Prevention, avoidance, escape and evasion 
  • Dealing with real world violence and attacks 
  • Defending against punches, kicks, elbows, knees and other general attacks 
  • Release and counter attacks on all chokes, holds, grabs etc 
  • Survive attacks that go to ground 
  • Defence against attackers armed with weapons such as knives, bats, sticks etc 
  • Neutralise and defend hand gun threats including rifles 
  • Defend against multiple attackers (unarmed and armed)
