What to bring

You will be all set if you bring a great attitude and a willingness to learn!

Krav Maga is not a martial art but a self defence system that can save your life. We do not wear belts nor do we wear martial arts suits. Just dress like you would if you were going to the gym.

Initially all you need is a T shirt, tracksuit bottoms/training trousers and training shoes/trainers, however as you advance into a position where you are eligible for a grading, we would then recommend you wear the official KMG shirt and pants.

While safety is always our first priority, and accidents are rare, they can happen. We recommend you bring the following:

  • Mouth protection/Gum Guard
  • Groin protection (Any sports type groin guard will do, but the martial art type is the most suitable

As students become advanced, gloves and shin pads will also be required for sparring, however this is after 6 months of Krav Maga.

Please also bring plenty of water and a towel as you can also expect a great workout
